OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 May 2008 was announced, that according to the month results in March, 2008 the passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 458 217 people, which is 31,3% more than it was in March, 2007, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries and to the countries of C.I.S. in March, 2008 had a total enrolment of 217 748 people, which is 28,8% more than the number of passengers, carried in March, 2007.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 240 469 people, which is 33,6% more than in March, 2007.

The greatest increase of passenger traffic as compared with March, 2007 observed on:

International Airlines: Tunisia (+199,00%), Spain and Canary Islands (+177,00%), Switzerland (+89,0%), China (+78,0%), Austria (+69,0%), Thailand (+55,0%), Latvia (+45,0%), Turkey (+44,0%), the Czech Republic (+39,0%), Egypt (+38,0%), the Netherlands (+38,0%), the United Arab Emirates (+33,0%), Germany (+26,0%), Israel (+22,0%), Poland (+22,0%).

C.I.S.: Tajikistan (+203,0%), Uzbekistan (+73,0%), Azerbaijan (+32,0%).

Domestic Airlines: Kazan (4,4 times more), Cherepovets (3 times more), Volgograd (+199,0%), Arkhangelsk (+63,0%), Sochi (+61,0%), Norilsk (+59,0%), New Urengoy (+50,0%), Nizhnevartovsk (+46,0%), Chelyabinsk (+46,0%), Izhevsk (+45,0%), Moscow (+44,0%), Syktyvkar (+42,0%), Voronezh (+42,0%), Murmansk (+35,0%), Novosibirsk (+34,0%), Yekaterinburg (+31,0%), Kaliningrad (+29,0%), Mineralnye Vody (+24,0%), Surgut (+23,0%).

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 18,7% in March, 2008 and had a total enrolment of 6 696 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 232 thousand tons, the increase is 22,1% as compared with March, 2007.

The results of three months of 2008

According to three months results passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 1 263 262 people, which is 31,2% more than the activities of the three months of 2007, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries and to the countries of C.I.S. for the three months in 2008 had a total enrolment of 600 347 people, is 26,0% more than the number of passengers, carried during the three months in 2007.
Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 662 915 people, which is 36,3% more than during the three months in 2007.

The greatest increase of passenger traffic as compared with three months in 2007 was observed on:
International Airlines: Tunisia (5,8 times more), Spain and Canary Islands (+156,00%), Switzerland (+81,0%), China (+76,0%), Austria (+68,0%), Thailand (+54,0%), Latvia (+54,0%), the United Arab Emirates (+48,0%), Egypt (+32,0%), Bulgaria (+31,0%), Turkey (+25,0%), Germany (+23,0%), the Czech Republic (+21,0%).

C.I.S.: Tajikistan (+179,0%), Uzbekistan (+52,0%).

Domestic Airlines: Magnitogorsk (8,3 times more), Kazan (+170,0%), Cherepovets (+150,0%), Mirniy (+102,0%), Sochi (+67,0%), Voronezh (+56,0%), Moscow (+52,0%), Arkhangelsk (+48,0%), Yekaterinburg (+46,0%), Izhevsk (+44,0%), Lipetsk (+35,0%), Syktyvkar (+35,0%), Murmansk (+33,0%), Chelyabinsk (+30,0%), Kaliningrad (+29,0%), Norilsk (+28,0%), Nizhnevartovsk (+26,0%), Rostov-na-Donu (+25,0%), (+34,0%).

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 24,1% during the three months in 2008 and had a total enrolment of 19 579 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 668 thousand tons, the increase is 24,6% as compared with the three months in 2007.
