OREANDA-NEWS. On May 6, 2008, the Bryansk branch of Bank Electronika marked the 15th year since it began to offer banking services.During its time working in Bryansk, Bank Electronika has earned a reputation as a reliable financial partner for its clients. The Bank offers a range of services for legal entities and individuals. They include cash and calculating services, the opening and maintenance of on-demand accounts and banking cards, extension of credit, placement of resources in term deposits, and other traditional banking operations.

As a result of working in Bryansk for 15 years, the Bank has a clear profile of its client. Today the largest number of consumers of the Bank’s services are individuals with average earnings and small and medium-sized businesses in various economic sectors. These businesses produce and/or sell goods to the final consumer or provide services directly to the public (contracting construction organizations, trade and agricultural companies, other segments of business).

The Bryansk branch has been very successful over the last five years: In comparison with the beginning of 2004, as of January 1, 2008, the currency balance was 17 times higher, and the size of the credit portfolio was 72 times greater. At present, deposits by individuals make up 47 percent of the liability base of the Bank’s branch – 54 times greater than in 2004. These figures demonstrate the high level of trust that the Bank has earned among residents of Bryansk.

In 2008, as part of the Bank’s corporate strategy, a new retail office will open in Bryansk, thereby broadening services to small and medium-sized businesses. Bank Electronika has already opened 16 offices in 15 cities in the Russian Federation that specialize in serving small and medium-sized business.

Elena Vasilyeva, Member of the Management Board of Bank Electronika and Director of the Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, noted: “Since its founding, the Bryansk branch of Bank Electronika has taken an active role in the social and cultural life of the city. In 2003, for example, in preparation for celebrating the 200th anniversary of Feodor Tyuchev’s birth, the Bank participated in erecting a monument in honor of the Russian poet. The Bank provides financial support for children’s homes in Bryansk. In a word, we try to develop our activities systematically in all directions, not to overlook any sphere of life in the city, in order to represent the Bank in the Bryansk region fully.”
