OREANDA-NEWS. May 8, 2008. Techsnabexport (Tenex) OJSC has rented from Saratovorgsintez Ltd (subsidiary of LUKOIL-Neftekhim) part of its nitron fiber production areas for the needs of the nuclear industry, reports a source from Atomenergoprom OJSC.

Atomenergoprom owns 100% of Techsnabexport.

Nitron fiber is used for the production of uranium enrichment centrifuges.

The source says that no purchase/sale contract has been made between the companies.

Techsnabexport OJSC is the world’s biggest supplier of products and services of nuclear fuel cycle and controls almost 35% of the relevant world market.
