OREANDA-NEWS. On May 20, 2008 at the Central Office of the Bank of Moscow this year’s scholarship-awarding ceremony organised by the Bank of Moscow for honour students from MGIMO (UNI) under the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Academy of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation was held.

It has become a tradition for the Bank of Moscow to award its scholarships to the best students of the two major Russia’s higher education institutions, based upon the results of examinations: the Academy of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations (UNI).

This year the personal scholarships of the Bank of Moscow was awarded to the following students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia:
Alexey Dyachenko (School of Political Science, fourth-year student);
Elena Fedorycheva (School of Internation Economic Relations, first year of the Master’s degree programme);
Maria Sirotkina (School of International Journalismи, third-year student);
Denis Fedorlyov (School of International Economic Relations, third-year student).

This year’s best students from the Academy of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation were:
Tatyana Bychkova (School of Finance and Credit, third-year student);
Yekaterina Kniga (School of International Economic Relations, third-year student);
Maksim Koshelev (School of Finance and Credit, third-year student);
Yulia Meyrabova (School of International Economic Relations, third-year student).

The solemn presentation of the diplomas and of plastic cards of the Bank of Moscow to those scholarship winners who have demonstrated remarkable achievements in their studies, was held in the Oval Hall of the Bank’s Central Office by the Vice-President of the Bank Vladimir Fyodorov and the Director of the Risk Management Department of the Bank of Moscow Ludmila Markina.

In their welcoming speech addressed to the scholarship winners, the top managers of the Bank of Moscow expressed their hope that upon the completion of their education these students will choose to work at the Bank of Moscow.
