According to him, gambling revenues in this zone are evaluated as USD1.5-2 billion a year. The consulting on “Azov City” is now provided by “Innovation Group”, an American company.

In the meantime, representatives of the state declare that in the short term “Azov City” gaming zone will feature its own aerodrome to receive business aviation aircraft, and also a passenger seaport. It was announced by CEO of “Azov City” gaming zone`s Krasnodar directorate Oleg Buzunov. In addition, he said that the transport accessibility of “Azov City” gaming zone by July 1st, 2009, will be provided by Eysk`s airport through regular flights to Moscow; direct bus routes Eysk – “Azov City” using enhanced comfort vehicles; business aviation; sea taxis and ferries. “As soon as by the end of this year 13 km of motorways will have been renovated and built at the budget expense,” remarked O. Buzunov.

According to him, in July 2008 Krasnodar region will hold a tender of land plots in “Azov City`s” first-phase development zone. The land plots will be given for long-term lease with the right of buying out on having built the facilities.

O. Buzumov emphasized that the major condition for the investors is to start development no later than in autumn 2008, and put the facilities into operation no later than on June 1st, 2009. The companies which will have bought land in the gaming zone will be able to launch construction works as soon as in September 2008.
