OREANDA-NEWS. June 6, 2008. Well-known Russian scientists have been invited to train employees of Kazatomprom and its subsidiaries in the framework of the 4th Summer School.

The Summer School is carried out each year by the subsidiary of Kazatomprom, Kazakh Nuclear University. This year 95 Kazakh nuclear workers took part in “New Managerial Skills for Improved Operation” project.

The vice president of Kazatomprom Sergey Yashin said that during the Summer School they also give lectures about the work of the company and its development prospects.

“One of the key tasks of the school is to establish personal contacts. This year we invited the pro-rector of St.Petersburg State Technical University A.Kopyrin, the head of the Physics and Engineering Department of Ural State Technical University V.Rychkov, professor of Russian Chemical Technological University V.Panfilov as well as the managers of Kazatomprom companies. We discussed the prospects for developing uranium mining, applying innovative technologies, carrying out marketing research and other projects,” Yashin said.
