OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 June 2008 was announced, that in late May OJSC PAVA, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, shipped flour to North Korea for the first time. The country will receive 2,860 tons of vitaminized flour from the Altay manufacturer.

This shipment was made within the line of PAVA collaboration with the UN World Food Programme. Over the last three years developing countries have been receiving flour produced by OJSC PAVA.

Flour produced by the Rebrikhinsky flour mill (PAVA subsidiary in the Altay Territory) goes to various places of the world - Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and so on.

Flour for these shipments is manufactured in accordance with the international quality standards and, in addition, is enriched by the vitamin complex. It is introduced in order to increase immunity of people living in countries that suffer from problems with food. Regular consumption of products made of such flour is one of the most effective ways to prevent deficiency of trace elements in the food ration, including iron deficiency anemia.
