Kazakh PM Karim Massimov has met with the delegation of the World Bank lead by the World Bank’s President Robert Zoellik today in the Government House.

They discussed cooperation between Kazakhstan and the World Bank, public management reforms and the country’ economic development.

PM Massimov spoke highly of the consultations provided by the World Bank and emphasized: “Our cooperation plays a very important role in advancement of reforms in Kazakhstan”.

Robert Zoellik reiterated the World Bank’s interest in further development of cooperation with Kazakhstan. “We would like to find out where and how to best structure our support to be a more useful partner”, Robert Zoellik said.

During the meeting they also discussed investments into human capital assets, development of education and training of qualified professionals in Kazakhstan.

“We respect Kazakhstan’s achievements, we are inspired by your plans for the future and we hope for fruitful cooperation”, Mr. Zoellik said in the end of the meeting.
