OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 July 2008 was announced, that Renaissance Group, the leading financial and investment banking firm specializing in high-growth emerging markets, today announced the appointments of a new Group Head of Finance as well as a new CFO for Renaissance Capital, the organization’s investment banking arm.

Greg Dinges, currently with Nike, will be joining Renaissance Group as Group Head of Finance. Peter McNulty, currently with Barclays Capital in Hong Kong will be joining Renaissance Capital as CFO. Both positions carry global responsibilities for operations in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Singapore, New York and London.

Greg Dinges will be joining Renaissance Group as Head of Group Finance in mid July this year. Greg is currently executing two roles for Nike US where he has played a significant business leadership role in the remarkable development of one of the world best known brands. Firstly he heads Corporate Development across the Group and concurrently he is the CFO of Nike affiliate brands including Converse, Cole Haan, Umbro, Hurley, Nike Bauer Hockey and the Exeter Brands Group which have a combined turnover of USD4bn. Previously Greg spent 13 years with PepsiCo, ultimately heading M&A across the Group. His career at Pepsico had a strong focus on emerging markets in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe and comprised a mixture of CFO, strategic finance and treasury roles.

Peter McNulty will be joining Renaissance Capital as Chief Financial Officer in Autumn this year. Peter joins Rennaissance Capital from Barclays Capital in Hong Kong where he has been the CFO for the Asia Pacific region since 2002. Peter commenced his career at Deloitte in Dublin where he qualified as an ACA. He moved to Australia in 1987 with Deloitte before joining CSFB in Melbourne. Peter subsequently performed senior roles at CSFB in London and Singapore before joining Barclays Capital in 2002.
