OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 July 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow are to raise a medical centre in Yuzhnoe Butovo, southwest Moscow.

“Yuzhnoe Butovo is a new township. It is essential to build a large medical centre here, first and foremost, a maternity department,” Moscow City Mayor Yuri Luzhkov said at a live program Litsom K Gorodu [Face to City] on TV Tsentr television on July 1.

According to the official, a site for development has been already located. “We have selected a good space near the big pond. It will make the sick people recover faster,” Mr Luzhkov noted.

The city mayor of Moscow expressed confidence of necessity for such a big township as Yuzhnoe Butovo is to have a large medical centre to serve its residents.

“We will certainly build a large medical centre that covers the requirements of all the locals,” Mr Luzhkov promised.
