OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2008 was announced, that an alternate to Shchyolkovskoe Highway is to go through Goliyanovo township to the fourth ring road in east Moscow.

“An alternate to Shchyolkovskoe Highway is to go through Goliyanovo township, Kaloshino industrial area, 2nd Irtyshsky Proezd set to be widen, to the intersection with the fourth ring road,” a press service of the eastern administrative district of Moscow said.

According to the press service, a bus terminal near Shchyolkovskaya metro station is to be moved to the intersection of Irtyshsky Proezd and the fourth ring road, to the area of Cherkizovo station of the Moscow ring railway.

“A project of the new bus terminal has been already approved by the Public City-Planning Council under the Moscow City Mayor. The construction is to be launched in 2009,” the press service noted.

A community and business centre featured a high-rise building is planned to be arranged near Shchyolkovskaya metro station. So, the new jobs will appear in Goliyanovo that is an indirect solution to the transport problem in the township.
