OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) recognized the relevance of the actions undertaken by the Federal Migration Service in an open auction for supplying clothing and stores for the needs of the Federal Migration Service, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case against the Federal Migration Service was initiated upon complaints of "Nadezhda" OJSC and "Phoenix" Sergach Plant" OJSC. In the Petitioners' opinion, the Federal Migration Service (the Ordering Party) unreasonably refused to accept their bids for the auction.

FAS Russia established that the Federal Migration Service had not allowed the companies' participation in the auction because they had presented a single (joint) bid for several lots, which violated Part 2.1 Article 10 and Part 5 Article 35 of the Federal Law "On State and Municipal Procurement of Goods, Works and Services".

Therefore, the actions of the Federal Migration Service were legitimate and FAS Russia recognized the complaint ungrounded.
