OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2008. According to Euratom Supply Agency, Russia and Kazakhstan were among the five biggest uranium producers in the world in 2007.

Bloomberg agency reports that in 2007 the top producers were Canada and Australia followed by Kazakhstan and Russia. Namibia and South African Republic were the fifth.

Euratom says that 41,264 tons of uranium were produced worldwide in 2007 against 39,567 tons in 2006.
