OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 July 2008 was announced, that representatives of the national certification system GOST R and the international certification system TЬV CERT have conducted a recertification audit of Trubodetal. The audit was conducted owing to the expiry of the earlier certificates of compliance granted to the Trubodetal Quality Management System (QMS).

According to the audit results, it was concluded that the Company’s QMS was functional and complied with the requirements of standards 9001 and 29001. It will be recommended that the certification authorities of GOST R and TЬV CERT should provide Trubodetal with certificates of compliance with standards GOST R ISO 9001-2001, MS ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 29001:2003. Trubodetal will be one of the first companies to obtain the certificate of compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO/TS 29001:2003. This standard applies to the quality systems of oil and gas companies and contains additional requirements as compared with those specified in MS ISO 9001.

The audit confirmed the validity (until 2009) of the certificate for compliance of the Trubodetal Environment Management System with MS ISO 14001. In addition, performance of the Director General, heads of the subdivisions and directorates, and the main workshops and departments was audited. Special emphasis was placed on the setting of goals and their compliance with Trubodetal's Development Strategy and Quality Policy, and on the monitoring, measuring, and analysis of the QMS processes.
