OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2008. The company’s annual report says that the portfolio of contracts for the export of enriched uranium and uranium enrichment services grew by 15%.

In 2007 Tenex made a number of new long-term contracts with Western European and Japanese energy companies. Tenex also won a tender announced by Ukrainian Energoatom for one-time purchase of uranium conversion and enrichment services.

The share of the commercial export of uranium products in the total export of Tenex makes up 65%. The rest is supply of low-enriched uranium in the framework of Russian-US inter-governmental HEU-LEU agreement.

In 2007 under HEU-LEU Tenex supplied uranium worth \\$759mln or 20.15bln RUR – 4.1% more than in 2006.

Tenex is a Russian exporter of low-enriched uranium and uranium enrichment services.

The company is 100% subsidiary of Atomenergoprom OJSC.
