OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 July 2008 was announced, that these products were designed by the advanced technology development group of the Volgograd plant. The special design of the ropes increases their ruggedness and flexibility, improves durability and increases operational life. As a result of these properties, drilling ropes perform better under load and are ideal for drilling applications.

From 2006 to date the experts of the Volgograd plant have developed 22 new types of wire ropes. Among them are products which are unique in the Russian and the CIS markets, such as steel ropes with compacted strands and ropes according to DIN and GOST standards with organic filling, for the mining industry.

 “Oil & Gas” is the largest world oil-and-gas industry exhibition. It took place in Moscow from June, 23 till June, 27th in “Expocentre”. More than thousand companies from 38 countries took part in the exhibition.
