After launching of base stations by the end of 2008, wireless networks will be organized in all raion centers and large settlements of South-Kazakhstan Region.

The first phase of project implementation on installation of telephones in rural areas with installation of 10 base stations required capital investment to the amount of KZT155 m. The total cost of the project implementation in 2008 makes up KZT1 592 m.

Till the end of the year VOSTOKTELEKOM LLP plans to additionally install 190 base stations that will allow organizing telecommunications services in 1842 rural settlements.
