OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 July 2008 was announced, that this year, the best exporter of the industry in 2007 (according to the results of the competition held by Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade) Altay grain processor PAVA continued to expand the geography of foreign sales. In July, South Korea was added to the list of overseas countries having contracts for shipments of PAVA products. One of the confectionery enterprises in the country became the new partner of the company.

Beforehand, PAVA sent samples of its products to the foreign client. After a thorough analysis, the customer gave a high rating to the quality of flour produced by PAVA. OJSC PAVA became the first Russian company with whom the South-Korean confectionery manufacturer signed a contract for shipment of flour.

The sample consignment of PAVA products for South Korea will include flour of several grades: extra, high- and first-grade. The cargo will be transported by a tested route, which was used before when goods were shipped to Thailand. From the sea port of Novorossiysk the cargo ship with containers filled with PAVA flour will put off at the end of September, 2008. For long-distance shipments when there’s a necessity to transship products from rail cars to sea containers, PAVA always uses a special package of enhanced durability which guarantees full safety of the products.

In this way, PAVA who became the first Altay grain processor that ships its products through sea ports of St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk, continues to establish its presence on the global flour market.
