Just to compare: all the world’s NPPs prevent emission of 3,400,000,000 tons of CO2 a year. The leader is Europe — 1,230,000,000 tons, the United States is the second – 900,000,000 tons, Japan is the third – 440,000,000 tons.

South Korea and Ukraine are the fifth with 160,000,000 tons each.

The market price of the quota for emission of 1,000,000 tons of CO2 ranges from 20mln EUR to 45mln EUR. Meanwhile, the cost of reduction of emission of 1,000,000 tons of CO2 in developed countries is 100mln EUR-150mln EUR.
