OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2008 was announced, that for the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru), July is the time of preparation for the harvesting campaign in the arable units, grain-collecting stations and flour mills of the company.

Grain-collecting enterprises of the grain processor were preparing the technical facilities for receiving the new crop. Here, repairs and maintenance of the equipment such as dryers, conveyors and lifters were conducted. At Achinsk flour mill, one of the most important stages of preparation for collecting new crop was repairing 3,200 square metres of the roofing at the first elevator. Besides, full repair works have been completed at the gallery, connecting the elevator with the compound feed department: the roof and the floor were put in order, and the conveyor belt was replaced.

Thoroughgoing preparations for working with new crop are under way at Rebrikha flour mill (Altay Region). Here an air-operated sampler was installed. This is modern, high-technology equipment which allows to speed up grain-receiving and reduce the amount of down-time for transport vehicles. Besides, it improves the process of sampling.

Renovation of the site and construction of a shed for grain storage started at a separate unit ‘Seliverstovo’ of OJSC Selhozholding (the Volchihinsky district, Altay region),

Specialists of the Regional Sales Department at PAVA registered sales growth in several Russian regions. Since PAVA obtained the opportunity to credit their partners with a long-term delay of payment, the client base of the company increased in Sakhalin and Primorsky regions. The Amur region shows significant growth of interest in PAVA products. The three regions leading in shipments of consumer-size goods were the Samara region, the Tatarstan Republic and the Saratov region.

In mid-July PAVA completed shipping products for military units of the Siberian military district. The border units and members of the armed forces received almost 1,000 of first-grade baking flour from the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East. This is one of the biggest shipments by PAVA within the line of collaboration with Russian Ministry of Defense.

PAVA continued export shipments as well. The first contract with Kazakh partners was signed. A sample consignment of PAVA semolina was shipped to Kazakhstan. South Korea was added to the list of foreign countries with which PAVA has contracts. One of the confectionery enterprises became the company’s partner.
