Seasonal variability is much more reduced for the semi-annual period of 2008, primarily because of passenger traffic growth during February – the month of the lowest airport activity. This fact is connected with the passenger traffic growth on such tourist destinations as Sharm el-Sheikh (+63,9%), Beijing (+101,7%), Dubai (+150,6%), Bangkok (+82,2%), Vienna (+60,9%); with starting new flights to Minsk, Bukhara, Khojend, Khabarovsk; with considerable increase of passenger traffic to Samarkand (+71,8%), Dushanbe (+100,8%), Moscow (+59,9%). Besides, this considerable increase of passenger traffic at the 1st semester follows the income of new airlines (Swiss International Airlines, Bluewings) and starting new flights to Tokyo, Tbilisi.
