OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2008. The Federal Agency for State Property Management has issued a instruction “On Terms of Privatization of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian State Concern for Production of Electric and Thermal Energy at Nuclear Power Plants” (Rosenergoatom Concern FSUE).”

According to the instruction, Rosenergoatom Concern is being reorganized from federal state unitary enterprise into open joint stock company with an authorized capital worth 318,265,244,427 RUR divided into ordinary shares worth 1 RUR each.

The charter of Energoatom Concern OJSC has been approved, the Board of Director – elected. The name of the Concern has been changed due to changes in the federal law regulating the use of “Russia” word and its derivatives in the names of companies.

Sergey Obozov has been appointed as Director General of Energoatom Concern OJSC until the first meeting of its shareholders.

The members of the board are:

Vladimir Sinitsin, Head of Nuclear Power Industry Department of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation (chairman);

Vladimir Travin, Director of Atomenergorpom OJSC;

Alexander Apkaneyev, Deputy Director of Atomenergoprom OJSC;

Sergey Obozov, Director General of Rosenergoatom Concern FSUE, Deputy Director of Atomenergoprom OJSC;

Alla Arkhangelskaya, Head of Price, Tariff and Cost Management Department of Atomenergoprom OJSC.

The director general of Energoatom Concern OJSC has been instructed to register the company within a month.

100% of the shares of Energoatom Concern OJSC will be given to Atomenergoprom OJSC by the end of this year. As of today, 38 of 55 civil nuclear FSUEs subject to corporization have already been reorganized into OJSCs.
