OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2008. Uzbekistan registered one of the highest levels of investment flow among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the CIS Interstate Statistics Committee reported.

The country recorded 41% growth of investment inflow in the first half of 2008 and it occupied the second place after Tajikistan (59% growth).

Investment growth rate in Kyrgyz Republic comprised 0.7% in the first six months of 2008, as compared to 17% growth on average in CIS. Ukraine (10.4%) and Moldova (12.3%) also had one of the lowest investment growth rate.
