OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 August 2008 Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine announced that it will assign a long-term credit rating to coupon bonds (series A) to be issued by Kiev Oblast-based Ukrgidroenergo OJSC. The amount of the issue is to be UAH200m, with 3-year original maturity. The company`s principal activity is generation and supply of electrical energy. In the course of analysis Credit-Rating will consider issuer`s financial statements and its other inside information.

A credit rating assigned to an issue of debt securities indicates issuer`s capacity to timely and in full meet its commitments on obligations. In the view of a rating`s level, investors may assess investment risks associated with the purchase of issuer`s bonds.
