OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 August 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow are traditionally to commission a number of social objects, including a metro station, more than 40 schools and kindergartens, fitness and recreation centres, by City Day of Moscow, September 6-7.

“More than 40 schools and preschool institutions, 3 libraries, a museum of medical history, 17 fitness and recreation centres and a palace for team sports are to open their doors to the public by City Day,” a source from Moscow City Hall said.

Besides, the officials are to present one more gift to Muscovites – a new station of the Moscow Metro. “Slavyansky Bulvar station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line is to be opened,” the source added.

In addition to the mentioned above, an opening of a part of the Tsar Aleksey Mikhaylovich’s Palace, considered as the eighth miracle of the world, will take place in Kolomenskoe culture preserve on September 9 as the first stage of its reconstruction is completed.
