OREANDA-NEWS. On August 21, 2008 FUIB (First Ukrainian International Bank) has raised a syndicated loan at amount of USD 154m., the press-centre of SCM reported .

"The credit facility agreement was signed on 12 August 2008. The initially announced syndication amounted to USD 100m but following a successful oversubscription grew by 54m to US 154m. The project is a striking evidence of the high quality of FUIB's assets and adequate interest to our Bank on the part of international investors”, said Vice Board Chairman of FUIB Dmitriy Yurgens.

The loan facility was organized by Standard Bank Plc, Bayerische Landesbank, Landesbank Berlin AG, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich Aktiengesellschaft, and UniCredit Group (represented by Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG and Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG).

The credit rate is LIBOR +1.95% for 1 year.

"The raised funds are expected to finance trade contracts of FUIB's clients", added Mr Yurgens.
FUIB has a 13-year credit background in international markets and has been a proactive player in syndicated loans market for the last four years.
