OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 August 2008 Transneft announced, that in 2009 the oil recovery in Russia is planned to be increased by 2,2 % in comparison with 2008 - to 503 million tons, and in 2011 - on 8 % by 2010 - to 518 million tons.

Such parameters of oil production are put in an innovative, basic variant of specified forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of social and economic development of Russia for 2009-2011.

Oil export, predictably, will increase from 255 million tons in 2009 to 262 million tons in 2011 that is caused by growth of demand for oil in the European market and additional export of oil to the market of the Asian-Pacific region via the “Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean” oil pipeline.

“As the result of more intensive influence of the accepted and planned additional tax innovations we suppose escalating of the contribution to cumulative indicators of the Russian oil production from outside new provinces, such as the Eastern Siberia and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). We expect smoothing of falling dynamics of extraction in the West Siberian oil province by means of perfection of the extraction organization and transition to smaller, more difficult objects in development, and also the oil recovery beginning in the Russian sector of Caspian sea”, - the press release says.
