OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 August 2008 was announced, that City Hall plans to open a museum and exhibition centre within the Moscow international business centre Moskva-City.

“According to the direction by the Moscow City Government, a working group for creating a museum and exhibition centre has been formed. It is headed by Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow City Mayor, head of Associate Board of Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction of Moscow,” a source from City Hall said.

The source added that the group would work out a concept of the centre and submit it for the approval by Moscow City Mayor. The Head Archive Department of Moscow has been charged to find the documents concerning the construction history of MIBC Moskva-City and give their copies for an exposition at the museum and exhibition centre to be built by the first half of 2009.

As Construction World informed earlier, all objects of MIBC Moskva-City are to have been built in 2010, the latest one to be completed is Rossiya Tower.

In total, 22 high-rise objects are projected to go up within the international business centre of Moscow. Among the buildings have been already commissioned are: Tower 2000, the complex Tower on Embankment, the 62-storey building B of Federation Tower, the 29-storey business complex The Northern Tower, the retail and pedestrian bridge Bagration with the area of roughly 730,000 sq m.
