In the first seven months of 2008, the First Freight Company shipped over 50.3 million tons, including 19.1 million tons alone in July, which represents almost 38% of the total volume of transported goods during the year, reported the press-centre of First Freight Company.

In January-July 2008, the First Freight Company shipped 14.2 million tons of coal, 15 million tons of oil cargo, 8.3 million tons of cement, 5.2 million tons of construction goods, 3.7 million tons of ore, 1.4 million tons of ferrous metals and over 2.3 million tons of miscellaneous goods.

The volume of forwarded goods in the first seven months of 2008 totalled 2.8 million tons, which mostly consisted of coal, ore and ferrous metals.
