OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 September was announced, that NASK "Oranta" summarized its activity for the first half-year in 2008. The plan for a half-year, which provides for collection of insurance premiums at the rate of UAH 472,7 mln. of has been fulfilled in whole by the company 100%.

"The plan is very intensive. Increase in payments during the similar period of the last year is 79%", - says Ms. Ljubov Udodova, Vice Chairman of NASK "Oranta" , - "Such directorates as Odessa, Nikolaev, Lugansk and Dnepropetrovsk showed the largest increases in receipts". According to her, the both internal and external factors have a considerable influence on the indexes of increase. In this way, during the first quarter of this year the indexes of increase in payments for the company were higher, because a certain activity of insurance market with regard to motor vehicle liability insurance ("avtograzhdanka" ) has been observed. The percentage of "avtograzhdanka" in the receipts for the first quarter was 33%, and in the second quarter it was 17% only. Thereby, the sums of receipts for the quarters are practically identical.

"If we consider increase in receipts without this type of insurance, then in the I quarter it was 80%, and in the second quarter - 70%", - said Ms. Udodova, she noted that these indexes in the II quarter would be higher if the situation in the bank sector of economy and insurance of agricultural cultures were not so complicated.

It became possible for the Company to fulfill the plan due to its enormous internal potential. The NASK "Oranta" has skilled staff, representative network in all regions and enjoy authority with its clients. It allows the company to show a high level of job performance in spite of all the external factors.

It should be noted that plan of the NASK "Oranta" for the second half-year is 20% higher than it was for the first half-year in whole for the company and amounts to UAH 565 mln. "The second half-year will be harder, but the company has good prospects for fulfilment of its annual plan", - said Ms. Ljubov Udodova.
