OREANDA-NEWS. September 9, 2008. This year over 1, 100 students enrolled in the head educational establishment of Tatarstan power cluster. They will compete university degree at five full-time, two evening and one correspondence divisions of KSPEU, on which divisions work 48 departments.

At the meeting on September 1 were traditionally present the mangers of Tatarstan power holding, who delivered lectures to first-year students.

This year the speech was delivered by the head of economy planning of the holding JSC "Tatenergo" Natalia Nazarova, Deputy Technical Director for investments of Generation Company of the holding "Tatenergo " Ilgizar Закиров, Deputy General Director for investments of Network Company Edward Abdullazyanov, Director of sale company "Energosbyt" Ildus Zaripov, Director of Kazan CHP -1 Radik Galiullin, Director of PRTPK "Energetik" Michael Tsvetkovitch.

In lectures they familiarized the students with Tatarstan power system history, its leading positions in Russian power industry, reforming of power industry and today’s structure of JSC "Tatenergo", operation under competitive conditions of today’s market of energy and advantages of cluster model of development. In available form they spoke of the problems in industry, future tasks, upgrading in the holding and utilization of new technologies, up-to-date pricing, cost efficient approach to technical processes in power engineering industry.

The mangers of power system emphasized that basic role in their solution played people, human resources of Republican power industry. For realization of its staff policy aimed at enhancing the professional skill and development of personnel, the power holding of Tatarstan spends above 50 million rubles annually.

Task of providing the power entities with skilled staff is solved due to integration of education and production and building the efficient system of continuing professional development. If the task of further skill upgrading and training the workers in new professions is the responsibility of Povolzhski Regional Center for Staff Training "Energetik", the initial training is delivered by Kazan Power Engineering University. To date in the power holding work 1,740 graduates of KSPEU, which figure makes 10 per cent of total number.

In greeting the newly-enrolled on behalf of management of the holding company "Tatenergo", Ilgizar Zakirov said that the day of Knowledge for freshmen of the university was the start of new life. "Choice of profession is a challenge, and the extent of maximal opportunities taken for professional growth depends on your wish and hard training , - he emphasized. - We will do our best to make your studies maximally efficient, as in KSPEU the conditions have been created for gaining professional knowledge, science classes, realization of sports abilities".

To the aim of student attracting to application and fundamental research in power engineering and awarding students for accomplishments in studying the power system management in 2002 established two nominal grants awarded for one training year to students of high courses: scholarship by JSC "Tatenergo" bearing the name of F.Z.Tinchurin. To date they are paid to 10 staff, in 2007 the amount of payments was 108 th. rubles.

Annually at the Holding entities the KSPEU students pursue production and pre-diploma cooperative education. In 2007 to gain initial experience at the power plants, in electrical and thermal grids of Tatarstan power system could over 1500 students.

In the present the conditions are created for employing future power engineering specialists for paid vacancies during summer cooperative education. Basing on results of cooperative education students that displayed best results will be enrolled in the power system reserve.

Issue of employment at the entities of "Tatenergo" holding wаs of big interest to students during the meeting with power system management, as well as salary size and career opportunities. The way in power engineering industry even after receiving university diploma starts from labor positions: electricians, machinists… Only passing each professional stage, readiness to further growth, acquiring new knowledge may promote successful career and achieving higher results and positions. "Requirements we put to newcomer are high and determined by modern rates of production development, innovative technologies utilization and labor methods", - was emphasized at the meeting with freshmen of KSPEU.

The system of personnel selection at "Tatenergo" holding is built on assessment of potential abilities and level of professional competence of the candidates as well as testing and interviewing. To date the staff of over 40% of jobs is staffed, but in case of vacancy the CV base of candidates is searched in the first hand.
