OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2008. Kaluga hosts the 43-th academic conference devoted to the heritage and further evolution of the ideas of K.E.Tsiolkovsky. The attendees will spend three days and hold 12 specific sessions, including ``Socioeconomical and Humanitarian Issues in Space Activities`` and international workshop ``Biological Research Carried Out On-board the Automatic Spacecraft``.

Tomorrow, to commemorate the birthday of K.E.Tsiolkovsky, the simposium`s day will begin from a dedicated speech to express the achievements of this outstanding scientist.

The conference is organized by the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Federal Space Agency, together with the other involved authorities and space entities.
