OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2008. The Board of Rosenergoatom Concern met on Sept 12 2008. All managers of the Concern, the directors of all nuclear power plants, representatives of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and Atomenergoprom OJSC attended the meeting.

The Board summed up the results of the Concern’s work in Jan-Aug 2008.

During the period the nuclear power plants of Russia increased their production and operated safely with no single accident or emergency registered.

Special attention was paid to the management of the construction of new nuclear reactors.

It was the last meeting of Rosenergoatom Concern as a federal state unitary enterprise. Within the coming week the Concern will be reorganized into Energoatom Concern. The change of the name is stipulated by the federal law regulating the use of “Russia” word and derivatives.
