OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2008. Breeze-M upper stage was delivered to Baikonur on Oct. 2. The upper stage is to be integrated in Proton-M launcher, which is to loft Astra-1M commercial telecommunication satellite in late October.

Breeze-M was delivered to Baikonur site 92 for further assembly with the launcher to be performed by Khrunichev space center experts.

Transportation of the upper stage was done by Polyot`s Ruslan airplane. For Polyot company, it`s the fifth Breeze-M they deliver to Baikonur this year.
