OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2008. The Moscow Arbitration Court allowed the claim of "Research and Production Centre for Commercial Fishery, Exploration and Monitoring of Bio-Resources" CJSC, confirming that the State Fishery Committee violated the Federal Law "On State and Municipal Procurement of Goods, Works and Services", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The State Fishery Committee organized a tender for the works on building a vessel for collecting and transporting producers for the fish breeding farms in the northern part of the Caspian Sea.

The tender was won by "Research and Production Centre for Commercial Fishery, Exploration and Monitoring of Bio-Resources" CJSC but the Ordering Party refused to sign the government contract because FAS Russia had ordered to cancel similar tenders.

"Research and Production Centre for Commercial Fishery, Exploration and Monitoring of Bio-Resources" CJSC filed a law suit.

FAS Russia is of the opinion that failure of the Ordering Party to fulfill its obligations and enter into the government contract has infringed the rights and legitimate interests of "Research and Production Centre for Commercial Fishery, Exploration and Monitoring of Bio-Resources" CJSC.

The Court agreed with the FAS Russia's position.
