OREANDA-NEWS  On 10 October was announced, that the Tariffs Service of the Irkutsk region on December 15 at the latest will establish tariffs for 2009. The tariffs should be established before approval of the regional budget. The Service will make the corresponding decision at the management board's meeting of the Service. The date of the meeting has not been fixed yet.

Now experts of the Service consider offers from the companies engaged in transportation of passengers, cargoes and luggage, granting of communication, and also from network, individual and guaranteeing energy suppliers. As for the tariffs for thermal energy, the Service this year has received about 20 offers about the assumed tariffs to be considered. Regarding the electric power, more than 30 offers await consideration.

Including JSC Irkutskenergo recommended the Service to use at definition of the amount of planned costs for the thermal energy the tariffs for budget-funded and residential consumers in the amount of 427 RUR/Gcal. Irkutsk Power Sales Company Ltd. depending on the level of voltage offers the regulated tariff from 45.34 kop./ kWh up to 47.25 kop./kWh for budget-funded consumers, and from 46.90 kop/kWh up to 70.21 kop/kWh for other consumers. Non-controllable tariffs are offered to be established depending on the level of voltage and the month from 88.13 kop./kWh up to 132 kop./kWh.

Earlier it was reported that the Federal Tariff Service established the maximal growth of tariffs for consumers of Irkutsk region by 121.4 % for the year 2009.

Let us remind that in 2008 the average sales tariff for thermal energy was 365.76 RUR/Gcal.

The Service offers the average tariff of 38.50 kop./kWh for the electric power for budget-funded consumers.

Besides, the Service now examines offers from the companies engaged in transportation of passengers, cargoes and luggage, and granting of communication.
