OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2008. Yury Zabolev, Mayor of Yakutsk met with the delegation of KAMAZ Inc. in the administration of the Far Eastern Federal District.

The largest Russian automobile plant was represented by Aleksandr Maliuga, Design Manager of KAMAZ Inc. of the work with an oil and gas complex, and Rafael Batyrshin, Director General of OOO RariTEK (Naberezhnye Chelny). The representatives of the Ministry of Transport and the supervisory bodies of the Republic, the managers of motor transport enterprises and other persons concerned participated in the meeting on the part of the administration of the capital of Sakha (Yakutia).

The main topic of the negotiations was an issue of deliveries of trucks working on natural gas (methane) by KAMAZ to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The representatives of KAMAZ acquainted the partners with the processing and operating characteristics of their vehicles. They noted that the company is open to sharing know-how and collaboration. OOO RariTEK, the KAMAZ dealer in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the company’s largest partner of development, production and promotional support of gas-powered vehicles and their maintenance, offered the Yakut party to replace the fleets of the republican enterprises with application of the Trade in scheme. The participants of the meeting were also interested in the natural and climatic characteristics of KAMAZ vehicles, after-sales service of gas-powered vehicles and its organization.

According to Yevgeny Gribchatov, Key Specialist of the administration of the Far Eastern District, the collaboration scheme offered by KAMAZ interested the managers of republican motor transport enterprises. Yury Zabolev, Mayor of the Yakut capital, noted that not only the model range of KAMAZ vehicles, but also technical and ecological characteristics are interesting for the city headed by him, because Yakutsk, according to the technical regulations introduced in 2008 in Russia, switches over to the requirements of Euro-3 international ecological standards.
