OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2008. The managers of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and the State-Private Partnership Center of Vnesheconombank met on Oct 31 2008 to discuss the problems of financing of Rosatom-managed state projects that cannot receive full budgetary financing for some reasons and need private support.

Director of the Center Alexander Bazhenov presented possible cooperation scenarios, such as financing of projects to develop the public infrastructure of closed administrative territorial districts and nuclear cities, support of programs to recover heat and electricity supply and public service systems as well as programs to enhance the quality of state administration in the fields of education and medicine.

The managers of Rosatom said that they were ready to coordinate Vnesheconombank’s future programs with the authorities of regions hosting nuclear facilities.

The parties considered the possibility of setting up a joint working group comprising representatives of the State-Private Partnership Center of Vnesheconombank and the Department for Contacts with Public Organizations and Regions of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation.
