OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2008. As of 01.11.2008, money transfer turnover of Bank 'Finance and Credit' through AVERS, Western Union, Money Gram, Anelik, Xpress Money, Blizko money transfer systems has made up UAH 415 million, which is twice more as compared to the year 2007.

Since the beginning of 2008, the number of transactions through all the systems has made up 325 thousand.

"The fact that the Bank provides money transfer services allows the customers of the Bank to send and receive money quickly, safely and securely. The most popular systems among the customers of the Bank are AVERS (our own international money transfer system) and Western Union", said Ihor Lvov, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Bank 'Finance and Credit'.

AVERS International monetary transfer system was established in March 2005 by Bank 'Finance and Credit', thus, the Bank cooperates with 38 agent-banks and 4 partners; in June 2008, AVERS system became first Ukraine-based International money transfer system.

Despite intense competition in the money transfer market – according to the NBU data there are 28 international money transfer systems functioning in Ukraine – AVERS system occupies one of the leading positions.

Bank 'Finance and Credit' has been direct agent of Western Union since February 2003 and works with 43 Ukrainian banks on agent agreements. Moreover, since January 2007, Bank 'Finance and Credit' has been providing Western Union system Quick Cash and Quick Pay services, which allows money transactions between businesses and customers worldwide.

In January 2007, the Bank became direct agent of Anelik system, within the system the Bank cooperates with 9 agent-banks. Since April 2007, Bank 'Finance and Credit' has been working with Blizko system. In March 2007, the Bank became direct agent of MoneyGram system and got possibility to attract own subagents. In March 2007, the Bank also became the agent of Xpress Money international money transfer system.
