OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2008. Atomenergoprom OJSC has been given 100% shares of 7 more federal state unitary enterprises of the civil sector of Russia’s nuclear industry reorganized into open joint stock companies according to presidential decree.

Atomenergoprom has been given the shares of Atomtrans OJSC, SNIIP (Specialized Research Institute of Instrument Making), VNIIHT (All-Russian Institute of Chemical Technology, ARRICT), VNIPIET (Eastern European Research and Development Institute of Energy Technologies), NIITFA (Research Institute of Applied Physics and Automation), Investment-Construction Concern “Atomstroy,” State Research and Development Institute of Rare Metal Industry “GIREDMET.”

Earlier, Atomenergoprom was given the shares of 34 corporized FSUEs. Thus, now the holding owns the shares of 41 OJSC.

As was reported earlier, in 2007 the Government gave Atomenergoprom the shares of 31 civil nuclear companies. The holding is also supposed to be given the shares of 55 FSUEs subject to reorganization into OJSCs in line with presidential decree.
