OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2008. Governor of Saint Petersburg Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of Bank Saint Petersburg Alexander Savelyev signed up a Cooperation Agreement.

According to the document, the Parties establish a long-term partner’s relationship with the purpose to create a favorable economic and social environment in Saint Petersburg and ensure accessibility of the banking services to the organizations, enterprises and people. Moreover, the Parties have agreed to cooperate in reforming of the municipal and housing economy as well as development of the small business and realization of the target programs of Saint Petersburg such as Development of Long-Term House Lending in Saint Petersburg in 2002-2012, Accessible Accommodation to Young People and others.

“From the moment of its establishment Bank Saint Petersburg has taken an active part in the city life by participating in realization of the most important economic and social programs. Singing up this Agreement has just formalized a long and effective cooperation between Saint Petersburg and the Bank which carries the name of the city”, underlined Alexander Savelyev.
