OREANDA-NEWS. December 9, 2008. In the eleven months of the current year DCC maintained high indices of its operational activity, despite a downfall in the market value of assets safekept at DCC.

The total value of DCC's operations made up USD230.5 bln following the results of 11 months of 2008, which shows a slight decrease as compared to the same period of 2007 (USD 237.8 bln). The total volume of operations fell by 3.5% to constitute 186 thousand. The volume of FOP operations made up 104 thousand (compared to 106 thousand in 2007), while their volume amounted to USD202.5 bln (USD 205.9 bln in 2007). Following the results of 11 months of 2008 the value of DVP operations equaled to USD26.8 bln (USD31.2 bln in 11 months of 2007). The volume of such operations went up 1.5 times to make up 81 thousand against 55 thousand in the same period of 2007.

In the period from December 01, 2007 to December 01, 2008 the appraised value of the clients' assets safekept at DCC went down 2.9 times to constitute USD41.6 bln.

In the reviewed period the total value of DCC's external operations has declined. The volume of depositions made up 105 thousand (as compared to 137 thousand in the same period of 2007). The value of such operations amounted to USD87.1 bln (against USD89.0 bln in 2007). As compared to the previous year, the volume of withdrawals has grewn from 36 thousand to 43 thousand. The value of such operations constituted USD75bln (against USD77 bln in 2007).

The volume of operations performed via the DCC-NDC Bridge from January to December 2008 was twice as high as that of last year. The volume of bridge operations made up 22 thousand, while their value constituted USD 32 bln.
