OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 December 2008 Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers in the Russian Federation - announced robust revenue growth of 34% growth in Russian ruble terms (40% in US dollar terms) for the eleven months ended 30 November 2008 over the same period in 2007.

Dixy Group’s total revenue for the first eleven months of 2008 was RUR 43,063 million, a 34% increase compared to RUR 32,252 million for the first eleven months of 2007. In USD terms total revenue increased to 1,754 million, a 40% increase compared to USD 1,256 million for the same period of 2007.

Retail revenue from Dixy for the eleven months of 2008 was RUR 36,447 million (USD 1,485 million), which was 29% in RUR (35% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.

Retail revenue from Megamart for the eleven months of 2008 was RUR 4,420 million (USD 180 million), which was 67% in RUR (75% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.

Retail revenue from Minimart for the eleven months of 2008 was RUR 1,571 million (USD 64 million), which was 54% in RUR (61% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.

Retail revenue from VMart for the eleven months of 2008 was RUR 213 million (USD 8.7 million).
