OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2008.  Atomenergoprom OJSC, a holding managing the civilian assets of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation, is planning to conclude contracts for the purchase of equipment for nuclear power plants worth a total of 15.2bln RUR, says the representative of Atomenergoprom OJSC Ivan Dybov.

Particularly, the company is planning to make contracts with ZiO-Podolsk for the supply of steam generator for Novovoronezh NPP-2 worth 3.16bln RUR and for Leningrad NPP-2 worth 6.281bln RUR.

The Central Design Bureau of Machine Building (St.Petersburg) will supply main circulation pumps for Novovoronezh NPP-2 worth 2.4bln RUR, Energomash-Atommash LLC (Rosatom region, Energoatom Group) — molten core catcher for Novovoronezh NPP-2 worth 631.891mln RUR, Sibtyazhmash — polar crane for Leningrad NPP-2 worth 476.2mln RUR.

Atomenergoprom is also planning to sign contracts with AEM-Technologies, Gidropress and Atommashexport.

Atomenergoprom is agent for the purchase of equipment of long-term production cycle from monopolist suppliers for engineering companies building nuclear power plants.
