OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2008. A campaign for the prolongation of collective contracts for 2009 was completed at the companies of Belon Group.

Serious work was carried out before the contracts were signed. Previously, a conference of labour collectives was held. The participants of this conference included the company employees, trade union leaders, and leaders of the Belovo Territorial Committee of Rosugleprof, as well as the representatives of the companies’ management and of the management company.

By the resolution of the conference participants, a grievance committee was established to consider controversial issues. This committee, which included the representatives of the work collectives and of the companies’ management, will function throughout the year of 2009.

Despite the challenging economic situation, the next year’s contracts contain a number of benefits both for the current employees of Belon Group and its former workers who are now retired.

The campaign for the prolongation of collective contracts for the coming year may be valued as an example of social partnership between the employer and the work collectives. In signing the labour contracts, all the parties, both the employer and the work collectives, expressed their readiness for joint work and for the search of mutually advantageous compromise solutions.
