OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2009. Near the crossing of Indyjska, Rotterdamska and Dokerow streets in Port of Gdynia, a next of planned road investments has started. Thanks to the modernization of the entrence by Dokerow Street, work effectivity of the Ro-Ro terminal is going to increase.

The main aim of this reconstruction is automatization of entering and leaving procedure. New gate will be equipped with modern scanning items, checking every track passing by and documenting its condition. Such collected data is then send to check point, where the controling person decides to let the track in.

On January 6, the construction area has been handed over to the general constructor - Port Technical Company SA. Two days later works have begun and the traffic has been reorganized - a detour for tracks heading to the terminal is illustrated by the map beneath.
