OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2009. Atomenergoprom OJSC is transiting to a competitive procurement system with a view to reduce its costs and to enhance its efficiency. Relevant decree has been signed by Executive Director of Atomenergoprom OJSC Kirill Komarov.

From now on all goods and services worth more than 200,000 RUR will be purchased on a competitive basis except for equipment of prolonged manufacturing cycle made by monopolist producers.

“This system is generally accepted in the world. It allows purchasing companies to procure goods and services at optimal prices and guarantees enhanced control over the execution of relevant contracts,” says Komarov.

For potential sellers this system is a source of timely and detailed information about tenders and their terms and, consequently, an opportunity to appear with most attractive commercial offers.

By switching to this system Atomenergoprom has taken one more serious step towards transparency and efficiency.
