OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 February 2009 was announced, that Achinsk mill (www.apkhleb.ru), a structural unit of Russian major grain processor PAVA, made the first shipment of its unique product – protein-enriched vitaminised flour produced under the brand Zhitnitsa. At present, it has no analogues in the world.

Qualities of traditional sorts, which are present in the new product of grain processing, give it a wide range of applications in baking and confectionery making, whereas a large quantity of vital nutrients rightly place it in the dietary products category. Almost all valuable components were preserved owing to an individual milling technology.

The content of vitamins B1 and B2 in Zhitnitsa fully satisfy the daily nutrition requirement. They help handle overfatigue and neuritis, have favourable impact on eyesight and wound healing. Vitamin E prevents tumour formation, cardiovascular and endocrine diseases. Moreover, it protects cells from free radicals damage, lowers arterial blood pressure. This essentially innovative product from the Altay grain processor provides human body with such an important element as iron. 100 grams of Zhitnitsa are sufficient for meeting the daily allowance. Vitamin PP (or nicotinamide) contained in the protein-enriched flour facilitates better digestion and stable functioning of the nervous system, while the protein which is an indispensable macronutrient for a person of every age, enhances the nutritive value of Zhitnitsa flour from PAVA.
