OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2009. With 17 new branches, 2008 brought Megabank's network to 192 branches at year-end. Three new Central Regional Branches were opened in Lviv, Rivne and Uzhgorod, also three new branches were opened in Kharkiv, and one branch in Krivyi Rih (Dnipropetrivsk Oblast), Poltava, Feodosiya (Crimean Republic) and Chertkiv (Ternopil Oblast), reported the press-centre of Megabank.

As a part to the follow-up of Megabank's Integreated Clearing Center expansion, three new ICC branches were opened in Poltava, and four in Kharkiv.

Covering 25 nation's regions, Megabank's network comprises 3 affiliates, 188 branches (including 23 Central Regional Branches) and 1 representative office. 2008 has seen 38% increase of Megabank's branches in terms of assets, upped to Hr1.3 b as at January 1, 2009, and shaping a 35% stake of Company's total assets.

With Lviv Branch, Ternopil Branch and Chernigiv Branch outpacing, branch loan portfolio drove up by 63%, contributing 50% to Company's aggregate loan portfolio.

In 2008, Company's branches went up by 32% in term of time deposits, making 35% of Company's aggregate deposit portfolio. Lviv Affiliate topped the list.

Branches gave Hr19 m worth profit at year-end, which is three-time increase on 2007. Poltava Affiliate took honor as the best Company's branch in terms of profit.
