OREANDA-NEWS. February 16, 2009. Starting from 1st February 2009, OJSC N.W. Telecom is offering its subscribers – both residents and enterprise s of the Northwestern Federal District – a reference service, Federal Information by Telephone 8-128.

By dialing 8-128, a subscriber of OJSC N.W.Telecom may get information on various subjects – useful business data, factual, entertainment , etc: addresses, telephone numbers, working hours of companies and organizations of Russia*, including medical institution s, shopping centres, higher schools, and banks. A person can learn about the timetable of planes and trains, price and availability of tickets, currency and securities exchange rate s, time of getting visas to other countries, booking tickets and hotel rooms. Information on repertoires of theatres, circuses and concert halls is available. Besides, there are   other information and reference services, from astrological forecasts or listening to jokes to personal secretary's services (reminders about meetings, sending fax messages, etc.).

Access to the Federal Information service is available round the clock. The price of one minute of connection for subscribers of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast branches of OJSC N.W.Telecom is 40 roubles (for private clients ) and 33.9 roubles (for corporate clients). For subscribers of the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Karelian, Komi, Murmansk, Novgorod and Pskov branches it is 30 roubles (for private clients ) and 25.42 roubles (for corporate clients )**. The fee for the Federal Information services will be included as a separate line in the unified OJSC N.W. Telecom's bill for telecommunication services.

The options that have been provided to OJSC N.W. Telecom 's subscribers thanks to the Federal Information are especially important for people of active way of life who do not confine themselves to one region of stay.
